The HIPP story originated in 1899 with Joseph Hipp handcrafting biscuits and milk for his own children and there, the first baby food was created. As demand grew, his son founded the company based on a philosophy of providing the best food for babies, sustainably. He was also the first to grow organically farmed raw materials for Hipp products.
Today, it is still run by the Hipp family and sustainable farming remains at the core of the business. Hipp test their product rigorously to ensure that they apply the standard that extends beyond the legal norm for organic foods with every jar and pouch running through 260+ tests from field to shelf. HIPP have over 150 products in milk formulas, jars, pouches, juice, fruit pots and cereals.
